Special Edition 'The Dark Knight Rises' Blu-Ray/DVD Released Dec. 4
EW reports that the much anticipated final film of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy gets the Blu-Ray/DVD treatment this holiday season.
The Dark Knight Rises will be released on Blu-ray combo pack, DVD, and digital download on Dec. 4. Also available on that date, a limited edition Blu-ray 'Bat Cowl' collectible package, which includes a replica of Batman's broken face mask for the die-hard geek's fireplace mantel, perhaps (or at the very least, an awesome paperweight).
The Blu-ray edition is chock full of extras: "The Journey of Bruce Wayne," a Batmobile documentary, "Ending the Knight," a series of about 17 featurettes on the "making of" The Dark Knight Rises; as well as the standard collection of trailers and art galleries.
