Please give a cold welcome to the two newest members of the unstoppable Southern Lord pantheon: Black Cobra and Eagle Twin. The former (pictured): an indefatigable sludge duo, comprising ex-members of Cavity, Acid King and 16, who've toured relentlessly alongside Torche, the Sword, High on Fire and like two billion other bands in the last few years. The latter: a truly unique Salt Lake City-based drums/guitar/vox duo with Gentry Densley of Iceburn Collective, who recently collaborated with Southern Lord's Greg Anderson on their ASCEND project, and drummer Tyler Smith. Both bands crush live. Both bands will crush on their upcoming albums, due out via Southern Lord before the sun sets on 2009 and all the world is shrouded in darkness.
