South Street Seaport Summer line-up fills out, looks sharp

The names and dates for the annual round of free shows at Manhattan's South Street Seaport keep looking better and better. Now filling the previously vacant August 24th slot will be Scots sweethearts Camera Obscura. That piece of good news is icing on an already delicious cake, that includes an opening night (June 1st) Animal Collective & Danielson double header, as well as staggered appearances by justified hype cadets, Fujiya & Miyagi, Menomena, the National, Battles, Au Revoir Simone, and more. Plus all sorts of hypothetical goodness for the dates are left to be announced!
Some deserved compensation for the biblical levels of humidity city dwellers are plagued by every summer.
All confirmed dates after the jump: June 1 - Animal Collective & Danielson (River to River launch show)
June 16 - Brooklyn Philharmonic (w/ Target Children's Day & Fireworks)
June 17 - The Jonas Brothers
June 29 - TBA
July 6 - Fujiya & Miyagi
July 13 - Menomena
July 20 - Bishop Allen & Rock Plaza Cantral
July 27 - TBA
August 3 - Turntables on the Hudson '' Billie Holiday Remixed and Reimagined
August 10 - Au Revoir Simone & Metronomy
August 17 - the National, Takka Takka, & The Forms
August 24 - Camera Obscura
August 31 - Battles
September 7 - TBA
