Sonic Youth Perform on <i>Gossip Girl</i>, Kim Gordon Serves as Priest (Video)

I have never seen an episode of Gossip Girl (I have more noble things to do, like clipping my nails, trying to rob people and reading so many books about the economy, etc.), but apparently Monday night's episode was like, a really, super huge deal. Like two attractive people conned each other, and we're all supposed to be like full of :( But two old people, who are also vaguely attractive, got married, and we're supposed to be 100% all :) 

The only part I'm vaguely interested in is that Sonic Youth were on the show, performing "Star Power" (off EVOL), and Kim Gordon was the old people's sketchy priest (apparently). If you care to explain what happens in all the scenes not related to Sonic Youth go ahead in the comments. I feel like I'm watching something in another language (maybe Mandarin?). [Videogum]
