Peter Kember has been known by as many names over the course of his career as Diddy has been. Well, almost. As Sonic Boom, he was one-third of seminal British drone-rockers Spacemen 3 (which also included Jason Pierce, a.k.a. J. Spaceman, now of Spiritualized) and still sometimes plays in the band Spectrum. As E.A.R. (acronym for Experimental Audio Research), Kember puts on solo performances in which he manipulates various odd machinery, including Speak-And-Says. Kember will appear in various guises around the country, including deejaying under yet another moniker, Space Lines, and appearing in New York City with Dean and Britta, formerly of Luna.
