Although their work didn't end up on Lady Gaga's Born This Way, the songwriters in Purple Crush are demanding that they receive compensation for their time in the studio with the pop songstress. According to Rolling Stone, the L.A. duo filed a suit against Gaga producer Paul Fusari. They claim that they were never paid for the "hundreds of hours" they spent working with Fusari, Gaga, and other clients in the studio. He apparently also promised Purple Crush a record deal, though it never came to fruition.
