Songsmith painful in too many ways to count

Microsoft has a new program out called Songsmith that allows users to sing into a microphone and build a song underneath it. It's a pretty cool idea, but this infomercial for the program that has hit the net is horrible in ways that are hard to put into words: in the commercial, a tween girl teaches her dad to use it via off-key shouting, pop uses it to make a jingle, a dude at the mall uses it to make a love song to his computer, and then the whole family sings off-key at the end. I can't really do the awfulness justice. Just watch. [via You Ain't No Picasso]

I'm still trying to figure out how the video has a 2.5 star rating on U-Tube??? I there was such a thing as negative scoring, this video would deserve it!!! -5 stars
