On Tuesday, David Morgan at DoubleViking.com wrote a piece entitled "10 Love Songs That Could End Your Relationship", a nod to the familiar "(number) (type) Songs To (verb) (noun)" lists, which enumerates ten good-natured, legitimate love songs that -- for whatever reason -- are malapropos choices for designating the spirit of one's relationship through the power of music. The awkward crowd pleaser? Definitely David Hasselhoff's infamous rendition of "Hooked on a Feeling", a video of which can (un)fortunately be found accompanying the article... with no hamburgers in sight, but just as painful to watch.Digg.com has taken it upon itself to share this wisdom for likely relationship dissolution with its users, asking them to submit songs that could be definite relationship-enders if one were to ever bring up the possibility of them being "our song" with his or her significant other. Outlandish at best, the majority of the submissions make the cut, and include such euphonious pearls as Tay Zonday's YouTube masterpiece "Chocolate Rain", "Beautiful Girl" by Flight of the Conchords, and "This Love" by Pantera. The Police's "Every Breath You Take" rears its melodious-yet-disturbing head as the typical hackneyed choice for professing one's devotion to another through an unfortunately inappropriate tune.
