Sonar Festival Reveals Mouthwatering 2010 Lineup

Sonar Festival Reveals Mouthwatering 2010 Lineup

The Sonar Festival is set to take place in Barcelona once again in June, and it already looks like the best lineup anywhere in the world this year. Among the initial batch of artists confirmed to appear are Flying Lotus, LCD Soundsystem, Broadcast, Cluster, Air, Hot Chip, Fuck Buttons and many others.

The event takes place between June 17-19 over multiple stages, and there are simply too many great acts appearing to even consider seeing them all. Sonar has the perfect mix of outright pop (Uffie, Dizzee Rascal), lone mavericks (Joy Orbison, Zomby), genre legends (Sugarhill Gang, the Chemical Brothers) and artists with new albums out who are sure to be at the top of their game (Flying Lotus, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip).

A three-day pass for the festival costs 155 Euros, and this and other ticketing options can be investigated on this page. There’s a deliberate focus on acts from the United Kingdom at this year’s festival, and this page explains why. Sure, it’s an expensive trip for anyone in North America, but with that lineup it may just be worth it.
