Sobriety Increases Productivity For Neil Young As He Releases New Video, Joins Twitter

It's been a busy month for Neil Young, who last week announced he had been sober for the past year to work on his memoirs Waging Heavy Peace with clarity while detailing his new album just weeks before. On top of that the first video from his forthcoming Psychedelic Pill arrived today.

"Walk Like A Giant" boasts some predictably trippy fractals amidst shots of historical giants such as Bigfoot and Einstein. The track runs for over 16 minutes on the album while the video tames the beast to a meager four and a half minutes. Psychedelic Pill is available Oct. 30 and will be Young's first album with Crazy Horse since 2003's dissident narrative, Greendale. His memoirs came out today via Blue Rider Press.

The prolific rock & roller also joined twitter today, where an upcoming #LegendsOnTwitter Q&A was quickly revealed. He has already amassed nearly 20,000 followers. You can join the rest of his fans by following @neilyoung.
