Smashing Pumpkins Signs With EMI For Reissues
Billy Corgan, who kind of is Smashing Pumpkins these days, has announced a sweeping deal to reissue expanded versions of the band's classic albums. The three year program will kick off in the fall with Gish, Siamese Dream, and Pisces Iscariot. Pumpkins' albums up through Adore will follow until 2013, with the releases capped with a new greatest hits package. As a part of the deal, Corgan retains rights to any further reissues of the material. Still up in the air, however, is whether any other original member of the band will be involved in the project.
