Smashing Pumpkins in the studio

If you wander over to the Smashing Pumpkins official website, youll see an announcement that the newly-reformed Pumpkins have entered the studio to work with producer Roy Thomas Barker. Why they chose to admit that he worked with The Darkness is anyones guess, but I digress.

So, do you want to know what to expect from the new album? Well, frankly, so do we. Billy isnt saying though, at least not yet. Tracklist? Nuh-uh. Release date? No such luck. In fact, we cant even confirm whos taking part in Pumpkins 2.0, since only Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin have confirmed involvement. So dont be surprised if theres no James Iha, no Darcy, or even an Auf der Maur in sight. But hey, its still the Pumpkins, right?
