Via Stereogum:I don't even know where to begin with this post. I could tie it in to cultivating a new generation of Pumpkins fans prior the unveiling of their new incarnation. I could tie it into pining for the good old days. Or I could just go ahead and give you the details. MySpace Records has gotten a bunch of bands to record versions of their favorite Pumpkins tunes. Each band will premiere their track on their MySpace May 14. Then the album will come packaged with the July issue of Spin. Among those contributing songs are Panic! at the Disco, 30 Seconds to Mars, and the Bravery.
Read on after the jump to see who's covering what. If you dare. I would pick out one selection I'm most horrified by but they're all pretty atrocious.
