Smashing Pumpkins taking over Asheville, San Fran

Taking a page out of the Arcade Fire playbook (because what better a young band to emulate right now), the Smashing Pumpkins have announced upcoming several-night stands in Asheville, North Carolina and San Francisco, California. In Asheville Billy Corgan and company will be at the Orange Peel June 23, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, and July 2 and 3. In Frisco, they'll play the Fillmore July 22, 24, 25 27, 28, 30, 31, and August 1. The band promises that every night will bring a new setlist, possibly even incorporating songs written that very day.
