Sure, for all we know, the "Smashing Pumpkins" are just Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and a couple of cardboard cutouts in this incarnation, but some band by that name has just announced plans to play a couple of German festival dates this summer. For those keeping score at home, here are the confirmed dates thus far:
