It's the project's second album, but only the first to arrive in the U.S. I say "project" because Sleeping States isn't really a band or group; it's another of those based-around-one-guy affairs. The guy? Brit Markland Starkie. Friends of Starkie like Grizzly Bear's Ed Droste and Klaxons' Simon Taylor-Davis have recently been praising Starkie's music in the press. Starkie is expected to cross the pond to tour later this year.
