Talk about a match made in hell. Speed metal warlords Slayer, still bruising from their Grammy win, have just announced a co-headlining US tour with Marilyn Manson, fresh from his divorce from Dita Von Teese. Full sets all around, opening bands not yet determined, tour starts on the east coast on July 25th and then winds across this glorious nation before roosting on the west coast, 25 dates later. Now we've all heard the fellatio 'n chicken slaughter rumors about Manson's live shows, and Slayer just took the "Best Live Band" category in the 2006 Spin readers' poll (ever the bastion of metal cred), so there's no question that this is going to be one badass tour package. But you gotta feel bad for the younger Manson fans that don't know what to expect from the other camp's audience - expect to see a lot of yanked-out fake eyelashes and broken compacts on the floor of any venue unlucky enough to be molested by this nasty tour.
