Looking to put the first 24 Hour Karate School behind him -- mostly the nonsense that arose from the lost Mos Def features* -- Ski Beatz has let loose some details on that album's upcoming sequel in an interview with HipHopFiend. The producer explained that we can expect features from an expanding cast of characters. That means we won't just be hearing verses from Big K.R.I.T., Stalley, Rugz D Bewler, Tabi Bonney, and Curren$y again. Though, to be honest, that wouldn't really be the worst thing ever, would it? Apparently Ski's also gathered rhymes from STS, Dom Kennedy, Talib Kweli, Kano, and Stat Quo, among others. That's a pretty strong lineup if you ask me, though it's too bad we won't be hearing Mos and Talib on a Ski production.
*Find out Ski's reason behind why Mos wasn't on the first Karate School and much more in the interview with HipHopFiend.
