To prove that Pearl Jam is the Kevin Bacon of the music world, Legacy Recordings has created a widget that allows you to enter an artist's name to see how they're connected to the grunge godfathers in six steps or less. If anything, it does provide interesting bits of trivia, but you may have a difficult time finding anyone to actually connect Pearl Jam to. It usually works best when you enter hugely popular names (Kanye West, Coldplay, Black Eyed Peas), acts from the 90's (Guns N' Roses, Ice Cube) or canon artists from decades past (The Beatles, Elton John, Roxy Music), so entering Vivian Girls or Wale will not work. Pearl Jam have been around for nearly twenty years, so I'm pretty sure you could legitimately do this at your next party, but the widget makes them more John Turturro or Steve Buscemi than Kevin Bacon.
