Single-hand controller for Guitar Hero allows for more efficient time wasting

Game modder Ben Heckendorn apparently has a great need for a free hand to drink some Carling Black Label. So much so that, in a move that will end the long nightmare of musically inclined pirates everywhere, Heckendorn has developed a foot pedal that replaces the strum and whammy functions on the controller for Guitar Hero. While the immediate use of the peripheral seems to be rocking the best Frampton impression ever, the pedal does allow users to “double strum”: Both the up and the down motions count as string contact. Heckendon posted a absolutely priceless video of himself shredding with his invention, driving a Lost in Space era all-terrain vehicle, and drinking the aforementioned beer here.
