If you don't know them by now...well...you're running out of time. Britain's Telegraph reports that Simply Red is soon to close up shop. You might have missed the fact that the band released a new album, Stay, earlier this year. If you're a fan, you definitely won't want to miss Simply Red's farewell tour in...wait for it (literally)...2009. Like Leno, the band is planning ahead. Way ahead.
In all honesty, I could care less about a long-forgotten one-hit wonder, and I'm guessing most of you probably feel the same way. I'm also guessing you can tell from the big box above that I'm using this story simply as an excuse to post the hilarious clip of Ricky Gervais' BBC "Office" character covering "If You Don't Know me by Now." Some great comic relief on a hump day.
