Silverman’s Emmy for Damon song highlights Kimmel heartbreak

Now that the relationship has faded, Sarah Silverman’s ode to boffing Jason Bourne is somehow just a little bit more wistful and poetic. Voters at the 2008 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards obviously saw this, and recognized the song for outstanding original music and lyrics at their awards ceremony on Saturday. Silverman was on hand and offered the following acceptance speech:

"Oh my gosh, this makes a year of [people yelling] 'I'm fucking Matt Damon, too!' totally worth it," Silverman said. "Matt Damon, I'm going to be honest, had very little to do with this being popular. And the person for who this video was made, Jimmy Kimmel, who broke my heart, oops ... who... will always have a place in my heart."

Silverman was honored along with co-writers Tony Baubirei, Wayne McClaucey, Sal Lacono and Dan Warner. [Billboard

Is this a joke I don't get? You also misspelled the poor guy's name. He should find a better fan club president.

Wait you only comment on this story is to call each other's names and worry about getting an "A" on a spelling test. Are you flipping kidding? OMG how absolutely pathetic.
