Sigur Ros, The xx, Azealia Banks Added To Bestival 2012 Lineup

The folks behind Bestival just announced a whole shitload of additions to their music festival that this year runs Sept. 6-9 on the Isle of Wight. While it was already pretty well-known that Orbital was set to headline one of the four nights, it's safe to say folks were looking to know who else would be on the bill before plunking down cash on a pass. Well, if you need a reason, how about these (via FACT):

The xx and Sigur Ros will both be making Bestival their only UK festival appearance of the [s]ummer, while BBC Sound of 2012 winner Michael Kiwanuka stops in for a live show and Azealia Banks, another contender for the prize, also plays. Justice, Major Lazer, Soulwax, Nero and Total Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs will be representing for the ravers, Kevin Saunderson will take his Inner City project live to the stage, and (MF) DOOM, Charli XCX, Gold Panda, Little Dragon, Gary Numan, Emeli Sande, De La Soul, Spiritualized and The Horrors are also on board.

In terms of DJs, Claude VonStroke presents a showcase of his Dirtybird label with Justin Martin, Eats Everything and VonStroke himself, and there’s sets from Maya Jane Coles, Scuba, Greg Wilson, Oneman b2b Jackmaster, Mosca, Ben UFO, 2manydjs, Four Tet b2b Caribou, and festival regulars Jaguar Skills and DJ Yoda.
