On March 9, 1997, the world lost the greatest rapper in history, but the music of Christopher Wallace has lived on. Today, we're launching a new section at Prefix -- Sights & Sounds, where a host of talented, insightful illustrators will recreate your favorite songs visually -- and, in honor of the Notorious B.I.G., we're setting it off with an interpretation of Biggie's "Juicy," by San Jose artist Pellet.

I like the illustration, too, Pellet. I like your color choices, and how you mixed Biggie from the video into Biggie freestyling on the corner (everyone who hasn't seen it should watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bz9tPGGjffM&feature=related) and then flattened out the perspective on what was obviously a very dynamic event and a heavily layered persona.
