Shyne Signs Seven-Figure Deal With Def Jam

Recently released from prison, rapper Shyne, famous for being involved in the whole J.Lo-Diddy shooting incident in 1999, has signed a reported seven-figure deal with Def Jam, the label that released his album from behind bars in 2004. Shyne won't be allowed to enter the U.S.--he was deported to Belize, his home country--but Def Jam has plans to send him to the U.K. to record a new album. Shyne has also signed a management contract with HipHopSince1978, the same group that manages Drake, Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy. [NahRight]
