Shortlist's short list announced

The ten finalists for the 2007 Shortlist Music Prize have been announced. The final list was whittled down from an original 54 nominated albums by music folk including Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, Ronnie Vannucci of the Killers, and radio and music journalism personalities. Here are those vying to be the winner of the award, which will be announced in February:
