Shockwaves NME Awards - Winners (2009)

The British can't seem to get enough of the Kings of Leon. Last week's Brits Awards saw them take home the trophies for Best International Group and Best International Album, while tonight's Shockwaves NME Awards in London presented the Nashvillians with the Best Album title.

The show was held at the O2 Academy in Brixton and featured live performances by Blur's Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon, Franz Ferdinand and LaRoux, Mercury Music Prize winners Elbow and Friendly Fires.

Best International Band: The Killers
