Shocking: Snoop Dogg Arrested For Weed Possession
It's the most shocking of all news stories, we know, but apparently Snoop Dogg was arrested in Texas over the weekend for possession of marijuana. That's right, the same rapper who can be found in endless pictures and videos smoking a joint, blunt, or whatever has been apprehended for having ganja on him. Did the officers in question just get sick of seeing Snoop light up or is there something else at work here?
Oh, apparently his tour bus was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, and a drug-sniffing dog found the sticky icky. He was issued a citation for the misdemeanor and, if convicted, could face up to 180 days behind bars. He probably won't. Just to note: he has a marijuana card in his native California, but that doesn't matter when he's in a zero-tolerance state like Texas. Watch TMZ's piece on the news below.
