Shirley Manson readies solo album

Remember Garbage? It doesn't seem like that long ago that the band was releasing smash singles and performing the Bond theme, but a quick look at the dates shows that I'm way off. The band released Bleed Like Me last year, which actually charted pretty well, an then quickly announced an indefinite hiatus.
While there's been scant mention of the band's future plans since then, frontwoman Shirley Manson has been working on her debut solo album. There isn't a title yet or a release date beyond the nebulous "sometime in 2007" but we can tell you that Manson has enlisted the services of both Jack White and Billy Corgan.
In the meantime, you can relive the "good old days" when Garbage releases its greatest hits album, Absolute Garbage, in March. The tracklist is after the jump.
