Sheryl Crow Diagnosed With Benign Brain Tumor

Singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow has been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor.  The 50-year old Grammy Award winner reports no complications from the tumor, also known as meningioma. Crow, also a breast cancer survivor, tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that she doesn’t have to worry about the tumor since it is benign, but it “gives [her] a fit.”  A rep for Crow tells E! News that meningioma is so common that “half of us are walking around with [it] but you don’t really know unless you have an MRI.”

Crow’s last album was 2010’s 100 Miles From Memphis. No word on whether the singer’s condition will require extra medical attention.
