Two-time gold medalist snowboarder Shaun White went from Flying Tomato to drunken disaster this past Sunday; he was arrested for public intoxication and vandalism after he pulled a fire alarm in a Nashville hotel and "destroyed a hotel phone." What we now know is that White's drunken escapades began at Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney's wedding.
According to Spin, Carney married Emily Ward in a backyard ceremony attended by 350 people; the other half of Black Keys, Dan Auerbach, was also there. Shaun White must have really celebrated, because once he got back to his hotel, the hijinks began. White apologized on Facebook for his buffoonery and partially let the party location slip:
"I want to apologize for the unwise choices I made over the weekend and for any inconvenience it caused my family, friends, business partners, the hotel and their guests. I was celebrating a happy occasion with a ton of family and friends and got carried away. I'm truly sorry for my poor behavior."
Arrest aside, we can only assume Carney's wedding was one hell of a party. [Spin]
