Sex Pistols may or may not record new album. Everyone outside of England shrugs their shoulders.

NME is reporting that John Lydon, nee Rotten, frontman for 2008 Isle of Wight headliners Sex Pistols, has told BBC 6Music that the band may or may not record an album after the festival.

"It's a nice rumor [that the band will record another album] and it might possibly be true we are attempting to," he said. "It's like all things Sex Pistols – it's riddled in chaos.”

If that’s not a definitive answer to “Are the Sex Pistols going to record a new album?” I don’t know what is. What this will mean for the lawsuit pending against him is not known. [NME]
