Video: The Sex Pistols ''"Anarchy in the UK''" (Live on Leno)
On the one hand, it'''s hardly anyone'''s place to be striking a paternalistic tone with the Sex Pistols. At this point, if they wanted to release a Destiny'''s Child covers album, you'''d still probably have to give them the ''"Once a genius''¦''" benefit of the doubt. They were, in no uncertain terms, a great band with a legacy bordering on bulletproof.
Furthermore, it'''s not like they'''re grasping at phantom publicity straws: The band'''s classic 1977 LP Never Mind the Bollocks is in the midst of a much-deserved 30 year anniversary celebration, and a re-recorded version of ''"Anarchy in the UK''" is featured, as previously reported, in the recently released Guitar Hero 3.
Yet there are some things that you'''d just rather not see. And I'''m afraid that Johnny Rotten'''s dance moves, in all of their middle-aged glory, might be one of those things.
