Anarchy in the U.K. on Guitar Hero III

The remaining Sex Pistols gathered in the studio recently for the first time since the late Seventies to rerecord "Anarchy in the U.K." for use in the video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. In order to main the integrity of the original recording, the band recorded on the original sound desk that was built for George Martin at Air Studios in London. In addition to the Sex Pistols, the game will feature a star-studded soundtrack including master tracks by such legendary artists as Guns N' Roses, The Rolling Stones, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam as well as original songs by guitar icons Slash and Tom Morello. No word yet on whether the Motley Crue version of "Anarchy" will be an unlockable feature.
