Chris Brown may have enjoyed a welcome break from his troubles thanks to that notorious wedding video, but he has quickly returned to more pressing matters as his court trial nears its conclusion. Brown was due to be sentenced on assault charges against his former girlfriend, Rihanna, yesterday (August 5).
Judge Patricia Schnegg is presiding over the case in the Los Angeles Superior Court, and has decided that she needs additional information before making a final decision on Brown. The judge is apparently waiting to hear from authorities in Brown’s home state of Virginia to see whether he can do community service work there.
Sentencing has now been delayed until August 27, and it’s likely that Brown could face doing roadside cleanup work and graffiti removal in Virginia once Schnegg has delivered her verdict. Perhaps Brown should give Boy George a call and find out how that all worked out for him?

Yeah, it's pretty much down to where he does his community service at this point. I wish he was going to the slammer.
