Anyone who came of age in the 90s has probably seen the brutal, uncomfortable coming-of-age film Kids. Having watched it fairly early on in puberty, it has permanetly scarred my conscious. It should come as no surprise, then, that the writer of that film-- Harmony Korrine-- was the director who pegged South African bizarro zef group Die Antwoord to star in a short that premiered recently at SXSW. The film, Umshini Wam, features furry costumes, wheelchairs, a music video breakdown, and plenty of zef slang. Watch the madness above. [P4k]
