Secretly Canadian reissues Zero Boys

For those who may have been laboring under the mistaken impression that American punk's late-'70s/early-'80s heyday was confined strictly to the coasts, Secretly Canadian is preparing to set the record straight. They're planning a January 20 release of the complete (albeit small) catalog of Indianapolis punk band the Zero Boys. Debut album Vicious Circle is being reissued and the long-lost follow-up, History Of, which includes the Livin' in the '80s EP, finally sees its first-ever release. The band's 1982 Torrance, CA gig opening for the Dead Kennedys and Minor Threat (at the former's request) has been cited as one of Midwestern punk's most significant nationwide moments of the era, and now the rest of the world will get a sonic reminder of the Zero Boys' importance in the history of American punk.

Cool, never heard 'em, but I'm always curious to listen to classic-era punk, wherever its from.
