If you walked out of Ridley Scott's Prometheus earlier this year with a feeling of loss and sadness, you weren't alone. Sure, there were some really cool visuals, and yes, it was a sci-fi movie with aliens and robots -- something that Hollywood doesn't seem to produce enough of. However, all of the things that usually go into making a film great (characters, plot and tension) seemed to go out the window in favor of style and mood.
I guess that's OK, but if you want to nitpick, you can really tear the film apart. One of the best deconstructions of it was made shortly after it was released. Check out Red Letter Media's questions about Prometheus for spoilers and hilarious commentary.
Another challenger has stepped into the ring to critique this movie, and they've done a bang-up job. Screen Junkies has produced a hilarious installment of their Honest Trailers series. Check it out below and see how many of their points you agree with.
