In what will surely become required reading for all of those who yearn for the day when grunge was king, former Stone Temple Pilots/current Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland is planning on writing an autobiography. His impetus to do this could largely be coming from his bandmate Slash, who recently unleashed his own life story on readers of the world. Weiland is working on the book with David Ritz, who has also worked with folks like Ray Charles and Marvin Gaye on their autobiographies. So get set to relive all of the heroin use, Eddie Vedder comparisons, stabs at artistic experimentation, and scary skinniness. Should be fun!
