Scott Weiland to spend 8 days in jail

Scott Weiland was sentenced to 8 days in jail after pleading no contest to driving under the influence of alcohol. Weiland was arrested on November 21 after an accident on the ramp of a Los Angeles highway.

 

In addition to the 8 days in jail, Weiland received four years' unsupervised probation and must enroll in an 18-month alcohol program.

 

Weiland was set to reunite with the Stone Temple Pilots for an upcoming 65-date reunion tour that was to begin on May 17. It is not certain how this recent sentencing will affect the tour. [Yahoo]
