Scott Herren: crazy busy as usual

Via Billboard:
Some dudes just love to multi-task. Possibly none more so than Scott Herren. The man most known for his Prefuse 73 projects also has his hands in many other cookie jars at the moment. He's paring down a track list for his next Savath+Savalas album, expected to be ready for a June release. Herren apparently has 40 tracks done and wants to cherry-pick that number down to the best 15. No known name for the album yet, but we do know it will be S+S's first for Anti-.
But of course that's not all, folks. Herren is slowly crafting the next Prefuse album. He's serving as producer for Japanese rapper Twiggy, pulling in guest appearances from Aloe Blacc and Del the Funky Homosapien for that album. Herren himself will guest on the next Jose Gonzalez album. And in April he'll put in some live appearances with Battles.

One of the most prolific and talented people out there. I just hope he finds a slightly different sound pallette for both the Prefuse and S&S projects. He's ridden those particular sounds just about as far as they're going to go...

i agree with you, btw. dude is awesome, but i'm hoping he switches it up a little. vocal studies and one word were so different but so awesome in their own ways, so let's hope he's got one more big leap in him.
