School of Seven Bells to Headline Tour for First Time

After a year or so of continuously building chatter about School of Seven Bells, the band is leaving behind the label of "buzz-y opening band" and, for the very first time, headlining their upcoming tour. The New York-based trio (Bejamin Curtis (formerly of Secret Machines) and Alejandra and Claudia Deheza (formerly of On! Air! Library!)) is touring both the U.S. and Canada in support of their debut album, Alpinisms. The LP, originally released in October of 2008, is being rereleased on July 14. School of Seven Bells begins their tour on September 25, and a full list of dates is below:
