Elite Entertainment head Chuck Lombardo is suing Ticketmaster, alleging the bane of concertgoers everywhere used his expertise to reprice tickets for maximum profits and then reneged on a promise to hire Lombardo and purchase his company. Though Ticketmaster is dismissing the suit as baseless, The Wall Street Journal recently ran a piece about "Project Showtime," an effort led by Frontline Management (Irving Azoff's company that Ticketmaster purchased in late 2008) to buy up as many secondary sellers as possible.
