Say Hi greets the world with new album and tour

Say Hi, A.K.A. Eric Elbogen, recorded Oohs & Aahs, set to be released on Barsuk Records on March 3, in his Seattle, WA home studio. Elbogen originally formed the band as Say Hi To Your Mom in Brooklyn in 2002, debuting that year with Discosadness. Seven years and six albums later, and three words less, Say Hi will be spending March and April adding to the impressive amount of shows already performed over the last couple of years (some featuring Elbogen solo and some finding him joined by friends). Things kick off at Neumo's in E.E.'s home town on March 6, and wrap up in Portland, OR on April 9, but judging from Elbogen's past track record, we'd be surprised if these proved to be Say Hi's only outings of 2009.
