Judging by the comments of Prefix’s Forums, nothing gets you guys worked up like a post about possible president Sarah Palin. I’m not sure what this clip of Palin (then Sarah Heath) playing flute at the Miss Alaska pageant says about her qualifications for VP (except that her hair can be molded into an impressive helmet capable of blocking bullets, and that she can, uh, play the flute), but I wonder if Obama or Biden (or McCain for that matter) have any clips of them playing a woodwind instrument in a frilly shirt in their past. [Idolator]
The flute is a difficult instrument to play. My mom tried making play it in middle school. My vote has now swung over to McCain/Palin!

We have something in common. I played the flute when I was in high school. It's not hard to play. You just blow and start hitting the keys. I hope someday Sarah and I start playing our flute together.

That's shockingly bad playing, for someone who's supposed to have been at it for ten years. And what a dull piece of music.
@Coleen: Yes, all one has to do is press the right keys and blow the right breaths at the right time, and the instrument plays itself.
This had better play in to the debate tonight.
"Governor Palin, you've been accused of playing the flute very badly. How would you answer those claims?"
