Yesterday we reported that RZA will be continuing to add to his acting resume with a performance in Judd Apatow's Funny People. Of course, that won't stop RZA from doing what he does best: dropping sick  beats with a forward-thinking attitude. RZA's fifth solo album, Afro-Samurai: Resurrection, will hit the market January 27, and serve as the soundtrack to the second season of the Spike TV animated show of the same name. Samuel L. Jackson leads the show, and Lucy Liu and Mark Hamill have signed on to do voices for this season.

Afro-Samurai: Resurrection also marks the first release for the Wu Music Group with The Orchard. Both parties digitalized the entire Wu Tang Clan catalog this year.
