Ryan Adams has been mumbling on the netz for a while about the new Cardinals album, and today brings news that the album actually has a release date, and a possibly lame cover.

The album, titled Cardinology (remember kids, never miss that opportunity to self-promote), is due out on October 28 via Lost Highway. The supposed album cover is pictured here, but it looks like someone did it quick on Paint. No word on whether or not it’s the real thing.
