Last week, news filtered down from the great white north that Wilco had gotten their own sub shop in Toronto, Sky Blue Sandwich, that serves Wilco-inspired sandwiches. But apparently Ryan Adams beat the pants off Wilco in the indie-rock star-inspired restaurant game: There has been a pizza joint in Greensboro, North Carolina, that has been serving Ryan Adams-inspired 'za since at least 2008. It's called Sticks & Stones Clay Oven, and it has pizzas like "New York, New York," "Rosebud," "Easy, Tiger," and "Bar Lights."* Picking Ryan Adams is less obvious than Wilco, so plus 10 indie points for Sticks & Stones. See the full menu here. [P4K]
*- Though it should be noted that some of the pizza has nuts on it, which is totally fucked up and wrong. Apparently they're into not only naming things after Ryan Adams songs, but they also like ruining pizzas with nuts. But still, the more power to them.
