Ryan Adams has busy lately, with his cover of a Vampire Weekend track and a song on the Live From Nowhere Near You: Vol. II compilation. Now comes news of his next full-length record, which will be titled Ashes & Fire and has been produced by Glyn Johns (The Rolling Stones/The Who). A feature with Adams in Q Magazine gives more details on the album, which apparently features “12 elegant country-rock songs” and will feature guest appearances from Norah Jones and Tom Petty’s guitarist Benmont Tench. TwentyFourBit has done a little sleuthing and has figured out that Ashes & Fire will probably surface on Oct. 11.
