Ry Cooder Writes Song About Mitt Romney's Dog

Though people are talking about Devo's song about Mitt Romney's dog,"Don't Roof Rack Me, Bro! (Remember Seamus)" it's easy to forget that Ry Cooder was actually beat them to the punch on the topic.

On Cooder’s new album, Election Special,  "Mutt Romney Blues," he sings from the perspective of the Republican presidential candidate's dog Seamus, who is strapped to the roof rack of Romney’s car for the duration of a 12 hour drive.

In an interview with British newspaper The Guardian, Cooder described Romney as “dangerous” and “cruel”, calling him “a perfect creation for what the Republican Party is all about.”
